Keep track of Employee Committees with ease and simplicity. Download this free template made with Microsoft Word. Made by a manager, for managers. 🏢

Employee committees are groups of employees who represent the interests and concerns of their colleagues within an organization. These committees can be formed to address a range of issues, such as workplace safety, social activities, and diversity and inclusion.

Employee committees are important because they provide a way for employees to have a voice in the decision-making processes of their company or organization. By participating in these committees, employees are able to bring their concerns and ideas to the table and have a say in the policies and practices that affect their work. In addition, employee committees can help foster a sense of community and collaboration within the workplace, as they provide an opportunity for employees from different departments and levels of the organization to come together and work towards common goals (source).

Overall, employee committees play a crucial role in promoting communication and collaboration within an organization, and can help create a more positive and productive work environment for all employees.

I encourage every manager to support and facilitate employee committees in their workplace. However, participation on these committees comes with an opportunity costs (lost productivity towards their regular role), as well as a financial cost (participation typically takes place during paid time); therefore, you need to stay informed and, to an extent, in control.

As with all things – I like to keep the process clear and simple. For this reason – I’m sharing with you my simple templates for keeping track of your employee committees.
